I'm doing it!

Day two while back at college, and I'm so far going good!

Starting tomorrow I'm going to try and keep a log of what I'm eating for my meals, and hopefully in a week or two after I've been going 'semi' strong, I'll start experimenting with E's.

So far today:

Breakfast
Omelet with red and green peppers, olives, and cottage cheese (I think it's 4% fat Cottage Cheese)
Medium sized (about?) cup of coffee with some half and half

Lunch
Large salad with olives, cheese, green bell pepper, hard boiled egg, balsamic vinegar, and cottage cheese
One hot-dog with a bit of melted cheese (to make it palatable)
Some Brussels sprouts with a bit of cheese (they were a bit under cooked, oh well)

Tonight will be more of a cross-over instead of an S (breaded meat. . . again. . .), so I'll probably have some kind of salad or neutral vegetable.
I can't complain though, I'm doing pretty well for dealing with college cafeteria food!

Oh, something that's keeping me going is keeping a small dark chocolate bar (plan approved) in my coat pocket.
If I'm really craving dessert, I just remember that it's there and I'll either eat it on the way back to wherever I'm going to I'll go and fetch it.

God Bless!

I'm back!

Quick Update:
Fall of Freshman Year Gained:
8 lb.
Lost over Christmas break:
8 lb.

So!
I've so far kept away the 'Freshman 15' so far, and I hope to keep it as far away as possible!
I have one more week until I'm back to classes, my next goal is to be back at my lowest weight that I'd been before I started preparing for college!
(I'd gained two pounds before I left for college, so you could say that I'd gained 10 lb. . .)

Another Bonus:
I'm 95% of the way into size 14's!
My mom (who I've been swapping close with for the last few years) has lost 35 lb. and is now down to a 12-10.
That's both good and bad for me.
:)
She's given me some of her old pants, but they're 14 petite!
Plus my excess weight is carried around my belly, so even though I'm smaller boned (and short), I cannot fit (no matter how much I wish I could) into a size 14 petite.
Another goal to aim at!

Something to Think About:
While I was at college, I was walking every where.
Even though my weight was going upward, my pants were telling another tale.
From what I can decipher, I gained muscle and lost some of the fat around my legs.
That's what makes sense at least.

Deliciousness:
This last week I tried making Skinny Chocolate with coconut flakes in it!
It was DELICIOUS!
It was like eating Almond Mounds, only healthier!
I also added to the original recipe one large scoop of Protein Powder, which to me didn't seem to change it that much.
I learned that putting two big spoonfuls into the cupcake liners was too big a bite, so next time I'll only do one.
Next time, I want to try making them with almonds for a try for Almond Joy's!

Total Weight Lost so far:
20 lb.

God Bless!

Quick Update

A really quick update before I go to bed. . .
My nice, comfy bed, with the nice, soft pillows. . .
Oh.
Yeah.
The update.

So far, so good.
All of my meals are S's so far (meals with fats and protein), though I think I might have had a few cross-overs (low carb and fat) a couple of times (those sneaky carbs. . .).
My parents left me lovely Protein Peanut Butter Cups (will post link to recipe soon. It's wonderful!), which happily melted in my room (that's what happens when your dorm doesn't have air conditioning and you start talking to faculty/RA/ARA/etc. who are introducing themselves to the students. . .).
Now I have delicious gobs of peanutty chocolate goodness!

My campus is rather rural, so I'm thinking  that most of my daily exercise will end up being walking from building to building.
If I can find the time between things, I might try a ten minute exercise routine.
I'll have to see if I can work that in, as I'm also looking for a job. . .

I have a very hectic schedule for this semester, but I'm happily looking forward too it!
I don't do very good with too much time on my hands.

Well, good night and God Bless!
